  Love this place. A great atmosphere and a wonderful little vineyard. Tucked away on it's own estate, the wine flights are worth the visit. The view is gorgeous from their rear balcony. They had live music when I visited as well. Will return

  Five-star scenery, good wines (not great), and mediocre service. The perfect location with rolling hills and unobstructed views of one of Georgia's tallest mountains, plus a Napa-like tasting room with live music and a wrap-around patio, make the experience and atmosphere one-of-a-kind. The wines were good, though all varieties were a bit salty - don't know if it was sodium chloride in the wine, soil salinity during growth and harvest? The staff is very knowledgeable, but because this place is so popular, the staff is constantly running around erratically to serve the heavy volume of customers. At points, my boyfriend and I were unsure if we were supposed to lead our own tasting because of the inconsistency of staff attention. Probably frustrating for them, and discouraging for our experience. The price, at $22 for eight small tastings (plus souvenir glass), is a little high for the area. It's not Napa! Regardless, it is beautiful and worth a visit! We will give it another shot soon.

  Yonah Mountain is the premier winery in the North Georgia mountains. The owner takes pride in his facility and his wines and it shows in the meticulous details of the property and wines. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. I will admit the prices are higher than others in the area, but since this winery is top of the line, it's fair. The only reason it is missing a 5 star review is that a winery of this stature should expand it,s food selection from a cooler with sandwiches and cheese to an in house kitchen

  This winery is OTT (over the top)! We are slowly developing a list of go to wineries in North GA and this one is second on our list behind Wolf. Can't wait for the Genesis 8 to release. Totally in love with the Estate Meritage. Only wish there was a greater variety of food options.
